Ēriks’ works Stars and O salutaris hostia (versions for mixed choir) feature on Heaven full of Stars, a new recording by Vasari Singers on the Naxos label. Vasari Singers is among the leading chamber choirs in Britain, performing music ranging from Renaissance to contemporary. This year the ensemble marks its 40th anniversary under founder–conductor Jeremy Backhouse.
Heaven full of Stars includes works by Bob Chilcott, Jonathan Dove, Rihards Dubra, Patrick Gowers, Gabriel Jackson, Cecilia McDowall, Paul Mealor, Roxanna Panufnik, John Rutter, Philip WJ Stopford, Will Todd, Judith Weir, and Eric Whitacre.
