On 14 March the award-winning Chapel Choir of Methodist College Belfast led by Ruth McCartney MBE will perform the premiere of Ēriks’ new work Where is Heaven?, a setting of a poem by Bengali polymath and Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore (1861–1941). The work was commissioned to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the opening of Methodist College, one of Northern Ireland’s leading grammar schools. The premiere is part of the school’s Gala Easter Concert in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall, which will be broadcasted on the internet.
