On Wednesday 31 August Ēriks’ new work The Morning Mist for violin and piano was premiered by Duo Kirsanova-Lewis at the Melbourne Recital Centre. The duo’s concert programme For the End of Time also included works by Auerbach, Heller, Bach, Rachmaninoff, Coleridge-Taylor, Messiaen, and Richter.
The Morning Mist was commissioned by Anita and Graham Anderson for the Melbourne-based Latvian violinist Sophia Kirsanova.
