Two new works will be premiered during the upcoming Christmas season. Choral Arts Ensemble and Rick Kvam will be premiering So Hallow’d Is That Time during their 40th annual Christmas concert on December 15, 16, and 17 in Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester, Minnesota. So Hallow’d Is That Time is set on Shakespeare’s Hamlet act 1, scene 1. Celebrating its 55th season, VocalEssence and Philip Brunelle will premiere Three Latvian Yuletide Folksongs (arrangements) during their Welcome Christmas concert on December 9 and 10 at Northrop, University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
